Reliable e-filing naming workflow

I’m tightening our e-filing process across CM/ECF and state portals. I use Acrobat Pro to batch OCR, apply exhibit stamps, and save files as YYYYMMDD_PleadingTitle_Party_v1 so the DMS stays clean and clerks can match documents. What naming patterns or PDF settings have reduced clerk rejections for you? Check your local rules, and consult a licensed attorney for case-specific questions.

Apera PH60F flat probe reads fast; quick rinse + KCl storage extends life; “pH 4.2” tracks nicely.

I’ve had fewer CM/ECF kickbacks after I standardized two things: filenames stay ASCII-only with underscores and <=60 chars (your YYYYMMDD_PleadingTitle_Party_v1 plus a 3-letter court code and Exh_001), and scans at 300 dpi grayscale to keep under 35 MB. In Acrobat Pro, Preflight to ‘PDF/A-1b’, embed fonts, and flatten stamps/comments — , live annotations have burned me on a couple state portals. Do you already force PDF/A on save, @OP, or want the exact Preflight profile I use (general info only — check local rules or ask counsel)?
