Courses that actually help with closings

I manage 12–18 residential closings a month in Columbus and want CE that sharpens eRecording, title commitment review, and client update workflows — any standout webinars or certificates you’ve taken? Looking for general training, not legal advice; we’ll loop in our attorneys for specific issues — we’re on Qualia but I’m open if the course content is solid.

ALTA’s LEARN catalog has two that moved the needle for us: “Advanced Title Reading/Commitment” and the “Workflow & Communications” micro-courses — paired with PRIA’s eRecording best-practices webinar, it felt like trading sticky notes for a dashboard (https://learn.alta.org/)… If you’re recording through Simplifile or CSC, their free live labs map cleanly to Qualia tasks; small caveat — ALTA skews title-co heavy, so I skip the theory and steal the checklists. Are you pushing client updates by milestone or by document event in Qualia?

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‌‌

Are you using Simplifile in Franklin County? Since you’re on Qualia, the most practical training for us was Qualia University’s live lab on Milestones & Automations — configuring triggers to auto-email buyers/agents at clear-to-close and post-recording slashed the ‘where are we?’ messages, though it’s product-heavy rather than Ohio-specific.

If you’re in Ohio, OLTA’s on-demand Deep Dive: Title Commitments plus the short Status Updates that Stick tightened our exception-to-requirement mapping and client cadence — felt like turning chaos into a checklist; they count for CE. Not Qualia-specific but easy to mirror with tasks/automations; page: https://www.olta.org/education — do you need a certificate included?
