I missed two “real-time” posts last week that vanished in a day — . What’s worked for me is a single PDF (resume + 70 wpm + iManage/eFiling) and LinkedIn job alerts set to Past 24 hours so I can hit apply within an hour: LinkedIn Job Search: Find US Jobs, Internships, Jobs Near Me; for the remote ones, a quick line about PT availability helps since a lot are LA-focused. Anyone else seeing firms ask for conflict-check info upfront?

Landed two Los Angeles litigation screens this week by applying within an hour — “real-time” really matters. I use a saved search on https://jobs.alanet.org/ and a TextExpander blurb with my 80 wpm + NetDocuments/ProLaw; remote tags there are often hybrid, so ask up front.

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‌

Seeing the “noticeable demand in California” too — what’s helped me is adding “Available PST hours + iManage/NetDocs” in my resume header and timing submissions right before 8am PT. Co-sign @elizaCraft_75 on being quick, but small caveat: a few LA firms still want a.docx upload, so keep both Word and PDF ready.

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌

And i started getting more callbacks on remote litigation roles after moving core tools into the first three lines of my resume header — ‘Billing: Aderant/3E • Calendaring: Compulaw • E-filing: CA/NY + PACER.’ Small caveat: many ‘remote’ posts still want West Coast coverage or LA court familiarity, so I note that availability and ask early if hybrid can shift fully remote — saves time and coffee.
